Pontianak is a city located in West Kalimantan (Kalimantan also called Borneo) Province in Indonesian country. What's special about Pontianak? Equator Line
Pontianak exactly pass through by the Equator Line. It means that Pontianak is located on imaginary line that divide earth into Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere. What is unique about it?
On certain day in March and September of a year if you stand outside under the sun at 12 o'clock, you can not see your own shadow! Interesting isn't? You can try it in Pontianak.
